BREATHTAKING!
I purchased a 1930’s bungalow style house needing an extensive redesign and a new aesthetic. I had ideas and a limited vision, but needed someone to help me execute. What attracted me to Iana was her niche of working with small spaces. I did not have loads of money to make my home a dream space but I sensed from she could help me realize my ideas practically and at a reasonable cost.
Iana helped design two closets for my master bedroom and worked with contractors on the bathroom design. Her taste in light fixtures is exquisite and her ability to choose the right paint colors is spot on! The crowning glory, however, was yet to come with the heart of my new home…the kitchen.
Iana redesigned my kitchen from a cramped, dull and outdated space to an open, airy and light filled space combining kitchen and living area. It was completely gutted and transformed. The change is breathtaking!
I love waking up in the morning in my bedroom where the light meets the paint color and takes my breath away. I love coming downstairs in the morning to my living area! It feels as though I’ve doubled my living space on the 1st floor and, at only 1000 total square feet, this was so important to me.
Iana is so many things you want in a designer. Her talented, creative and thoughtful approach to design is evident upon first meeting with her. I think her strongest suit is not foisting her ideas on a client but through thoughtful exploration she pulls out of a client the ideas and directions the client wants to go in. She accomplishes this through observations of your home and its contents and style. She asks lots of questions about you until she determines what YOU want even though you may not initially be able to articulate your ideas. Iana is very good at this!
She has made my once neglected and unfinished home into a bright and beautiful beach bungalow. I could not be more pleased and would not hesitate in recommending Iana and her services! In fact, I recently told Iana that I may be in danger of becoming a recluse. I am so thrilled with what she has accomplished with the interior of my home that I seldom want to leave!
